Brave Lady is an exciting project for a keen boater. She's a traditional 60 foot narrowboat built in 1992 by Gary Gorton who has a reputation for having built good quality, strong narrowboats. She has been with the same family since new and is now ready for a new chapter. She has a traditional engine room with a Perkins engine. There is a store room at the stern which could be fitted out as a small second bedroom, studio, or workshop. Although she's somewhat jaded inside and out, and not for the faint-hearted, this Brave Lady is sure to forge a bright new future in the right hands. A copy of an August 2022 survey is now available for Brave Lady. It concluded that the hull was in very good condition for a boat of this age, with no serious pitting or corrosion.
