This Maxi 84 has been constantly updated over the years. This design was a trendsetter in her time and with her Pelle Peterson design was classified as a fast cruiser that could be raced. Lilybet is presented in extremely good condition and has an impressive inventory. An early viewing is highly recommended.

Mechanical & Electrical Systems
Located under companionway. Volvo Penta three cylinder MD2020B marine diesel engine (new 1998). 19 hp. Freshwater cooled via a heat exchanger. Saildrive to a fixed 2 bladed propeller. Saildrive fully serviced with diaphragm changed in 2023. Engine serviced 2024.

12 volt domestic battery. 12 volt engine start battery. Alternator charging. Solar panel. 240 volt shorepower system. Battery charger.

Mast, Rigging & Construction
Masthead rigged Bermudan sloop. Anodised alloy mast and boom. Stainless steel standing rigging. Terylene running rigging. Two Barlow 24 two speed sheet winches and two halyard winches. Slab reefing to mainsail with lazy jacks. Furlex headsail furling system.

Maxi 84 built by Maxi Yachts in 1982 to a Pelle Peterson design. Cream/white painted hull with style stripes (professional spray painted in 2006), superstructure and decks with moulded non-slip surfaces. Cast iron fin keel. Tiller steering to transom hung rudder. Self draining cockpit and anchor well. Stainless steel rails. Last surveyed in 2020 - report available.
