Hot Toddy is a traditional style narrowboat, brimming with character and crafted with exceptional attention to detail. Built on an elegant shell by Orion Narrowboats, renowned for their robust builds inspired by working boats of the BCN, she offers both solid handling and classic good looks. The bespoke ash fit-out is beautifully executed throughout, with each cabin showcasing fine joinery and thoughtful finishing touches. Propulsion is appropriately traditional with a magnificent Gardner 2L2 engine, reconditioned in 2014 and run for just 810 hours since. Housed in its own dedicated engine room with shiny brass guards, Hot Toddy offers the kind of traditional propulsion enthusiasts dream of. Onboard systems include 230V power via the landline or the 2.5kW Mastervolt inverter/charger, while 2 x 435W solar panels and a MPPT controller trickle charge the batteries. Heating is by Eberspacher diesel boiler feeding discreet fin rads and a radiator in the shower room, complemented by two solid fuel stoves at the fore and aft. The interior offers a spacious saloon, a generous galley complete with dresser unit and a Pullman dinette.
