The Wakeman is a 57ft x 6ft 10in narrow beam Dutch Barge built by Roger Fuller, and fitted out by Nimbus Narrowboats in 1996. She is fitted with a Gardner 3LW in aft engine room and has 4 berths and a bow thruster.
Overview
The Wakeman is a charming boat that is full of character. With engines beating heart is her Gardner 3LW diesel engine, which is housed in a separate engine room at the back of the boat. Going forward from her wheelhouse the main bedroom has a fixed double berth with generous storage. The shower room benefits from a cassette toilet, washbasin and good size quadrant shower. The galley enjoys a Vanette gas oven, 4 burner gas hob, microwave oven, fridge (240v) and a 6kg washing machine. The boast solid fuel stove is placed amidships giving better distribution of the heat.
